- The Trimble County girls tennis team held its annual awards banquet recently.
Kalee Cook was named the team's Most Valuable Player while playing partner Micah Hess was given the Net Award after both went 14-5 in doubles action. Both Cook and Hess were also presented an award for winning the North Central Kentucky Conference doubles championship.
Other award winners were: Whitney Wingham, Raider Award and Winning season (10-5 Doubles); Elisabeth Moore, 110 Percent Award; Ciarra Harmon, Sportsmanship Award; Diane Payton, Most Improved Doubles Award, (11-4); Alex Lawhorn, Most Improved Singles Award (11-7); Cheyenne Crouch, Winning Season (4-1 doubles); Destiny Harp, Rookie of the Year; Amber Abbett, JV MVP; and Hope Caswell, JV Rookie of the Year.
