Trimble County girls tennis falls 4-1 to Shelby County in Bedford

Trimble County girls tennis lost 4-1 to Shelby County on Monday in Bedford.
The Raiders lone win was No. 1 doubles where Micah Hess and Alex Lawhorn defeated Rhacel Dave and Kendall Souder 15-13 in a third-set, 10-point, tie-breaker after Trimble split the first two sets 6-4, 5-7.
Singles - No. 1 Hailey Coffey (S) d. Kim Abbett (T) 6-0, 6-0; No. 2 Emalee Turley (S) d. Destinee Harp (T) 6-0, 6-0; No. 3 Abbey Betts (S) won by default when Cheyenne Crouch (T) retired due to a knee injury.
On Friday, Trimble lost 4-1 to Western Hills as Hess and Lawhorn once again scored the Raiders' lone win over Courtney Carr and Diana Rudic (no score).
Trimble's Hope Caswell lost 6-0, 6-0 at No. 1 singles; Harp lost 6-2, 6-1 at No. 2 singles; Abbett lost 6-1, 6-4 at No. 3 singles; and Diane Payton and Cheyenne Crouch lost 7-5, 6-4 in doubles.
