Trimble County took control in the first quarter and never looked back in a 61-30 win at Walden Monday in boys basketball.

The Raiders led 14-7 after the first quarter and expanded the lead to 27-11 by halftime.

Freshman Michael Dunaway had a double-double of 13 points and 13 rebounds to lead the Raiders and Ethan Merrill scored 10 points. Eleven different Raiders scored in the game.

The victory improves Trimble's record to 11-6 on the season, the Raiders' highest single-season win total since going 17-11 in 2001. Trimble won 10 games in back-to-back seasons in 2008 and 2009.

The Raiders travel to Williamstown on Thursday.
