No problem with voter ID

To the editor:

I am astonished that people can argue with a straight face, as Mr. Nickas does, that requiring voters to show some sort of ID is an insurmountable obstacle that will disenfranchise thousands, considering that possession of such ID has become a virtual necessity of modern life.

Still, if Mr. Nickas wishes to assert that the incompetent and the unmotivated vote for Democrats in overwhelming numbers, I certainly will not argue the point.
