HAPPY HORSEWOMAN
Children surround Edie Butcher and her horse, Shyra, during a celebration welcoming fall to Switzerland County. Butcher has participated in the event for more than a decade as the fictional character from "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow." Yet instead of riding around as a scary headless horseman, she serves as an ambassador to the Sleepy Hollow fall festival. She is Vevay's ... Happy Horsewoman.
