The 2008 Teen Health Scholarship Application from Speaking of Women's Health is now available for female high school seniors in Jefferson County. Through its endowment, the local Speaking of Women's Health committee provides a $500 scholarship that can be used toward college tuition or educational needs.
Applications are available at Madison Consolidated High School, Shawe Memorial High School and Southwestern High School. Eligible seniors can also call the KDH Community Relations office at (812) 265-0175 or download the application at www.kdhhs.org.
Applications must be received by 5 p.m. Friday, April 4. The scholarship will be announced at the 2008 Speaking of Women's Health Conference Saturday, April 26 at Hanover College. Complete applications should be mailed to Speaking of Women's Health, P.O. Box 378, Madison, IN 47250.
