Knights of Columbus #934 in Madison had its 42nd Tootsie Roll Drive last weekend, which raised $2,275 that will be donated to special-needs classes in Jefferson and Switzerland counties.

At the drive, volunteers from schools around Jefferson and Switzerland counties were positioned at Kroger and volunteers from the Knights of Columbus #934 were positioned at Walmart to pass out Tootsie Rolls and to ask for donations. Volunteers also collected donations at Prince of Peace after Mass collections in Madison and Vevay.

All donations will be distributed to around 15 special-needs classes throughout Jefferson and Switzerland counties. These donations will help classes pay for school supplies, field trips and other educational items.
