Samantha Ashley Thompson of Fort Wayne and Braxton Ryan Powers of Fort Wayne exchanged vows Saturday, October 6, 2018, in Fort Wayne. Paul Bowman officiated the ceremy.

The bride is the daughter of Jerry and Angie Thompson of Wolcottville. She is a 2013 graduae of Lakeland High School and a 2016 graduate of Indiana University¬≠ — Purdue University Fort Wayne. She is employed with Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne.

The groom is the son of Mark and Patricia Powers of Madison. He is a 2011 graduate of Madison Consolidated High School and a 2016 graduate of Indiana University — Purdue University Fort Wayne. He is employed with NISCO in Topeka.

The bride’s escort was the bride’s father, Jerry Thompson. The bride’s sisters, Abi Thompson and Carley Thompson served as maids of honor. Bridesmaids were Cara Tackett and Ashley Lilley.

The groom’s brother, Coltin Powers, and friend, Jason Joyner served as best men. Groomsmen were Andy Fullenkamp and Aaron Lilley.

The guest registry attendant was Amber Powers.

A reception followed the ceremony at Goegleins Homestead. The couple celebrated with a wedding trip to Jamaica.

They reside in Fort Wayne.

A local wedding celebration will be held Saturday, March 30, 2019 from 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Hebron Baptist Church. All family and friends are invited.
