  • We just can’t gather the details of some events right now, mostly because many of the folks putting the events together don’t know yet either. So, we’ve made notes on the things we don’t know and we’re sharing them with you, so you know what we’re on the lookout for. We will update information continuously in the Madison Courier and on madisoncourier.com.

Stay with us and we’ll fill in the blanks as we go along.

Oh, and, just a note to help all those folks who give of their time and talent to make Madison such a fun and intersting place to live: Many of the local concerts and events are free, but donations are accepted.

Just remember to check the Madison Courier sports section in print and on www.madisoncourier.com regularly.
  • Madison is the hometown of the world’s only community-owned unlimited hydroplane, the U-1 HomeStreet Bank/Miss Madison. Residents have been following hydroplane racing since the team was established in 1961, and once they got a taste of winning with the 1971 Gold Cup, they never looked back. Follow driver Jimmy Shane and the Miss Madison Racing Team whether it is at home for the annual Regatta in July or dueling for lane one on the West coast. Here’s a look at the tentative schedule for the 2018 H1 Unlimited Hydroplane season:
