Three suspects linked to a burglary on Lower Dry Fork Road were arrested Wednesday by the Jefferson County Sheriff's Department.

The investigation, led by Deputy Yancy Denning, resulted in the arrests of Skyler Jenkins, 18, of Madison, and two 17-year-old male juveniles, also from Madison.

All three face preliminary charges of burglary, a Class C felony; theft, a Class D felony; possession of stolen property, a Class D felony; and possession of a handgun without a license, a Class A misdemeanor.

Taken in the burglary were five guns, a crossbow and knives, all of which were recovered by investigating officers. The suspects were identified through surveillance cameras on the property.

The two juveniles were detained at a juvenile correctional facility. Jenkins is being held in the Jefferson County Jail where he awaits his initial court appearance.

Deputies Josh Cochran and Brent Bennett, along with Hanover Police Sgt. Andrew Sims assisted in the investigation.
