A total of 26 individuals filed in this year’s May 7 municipal primary elections before Friday’s noon deadline passed. Several new candidates submitted their paperwork this last week, including Republicans Patrick E. Thevenow, Amanda Kay Creech, Lucy Dattilo, Katie Hosier-Rampy, Curtis Kelley Chatham and Joshua J. Wilber; and Democrats Bryan Hernandez, Brody Bennett and Cree Green.

No candidate filed to run for the Town of Hanover Council District 1 seat. The parties will have a chance to fill the seat.
