A tip to state police about the manufacturing of methamphetamine led to the arrest of a Trimble County man Monday night.

Damon Albert, 37, of Bedford, faces drug charges after Kentucky State Police troopers went to a home on Roberts Road to follow up on the tip.

Troopers found a meth lab along with several items used to manufacture methamphetamine.

Albert faces charges of manufacturing methamphetamine, unlawful possession of meth precursors, possession of methamphetamine and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Albert remains lodged at the Carroll County Detention Center in Carrollton.
