For the first time in Roostertail Music Festival’s short history, the last act on Friday and Saturday won’t be the headliner.

Festival organizers announced on Facebook Tuesday that The Comancheros, a southern rock band from Columbia, Missouri, will play a one-act show in the beer tent after the main stage closes Friday night. The show is expected to kick off around midnight, and another band will play a late show Saturday, but hasn’t been announced, festival organizer Brent Turner said.

The Comancheros released their first full-length album, “Heavy and Western” in November 2018 and cite Motorhead, Merle Haggard, Johnny Cash and Judas Priest as their influences. The band features Tanner Jones on guitar and vocals, Bradley Hutchinson on guitar, Kyle Imgarten on bass and steel guitar and R. Michael Cook on drums.
