Authorities in Switzerland County capped off a multi-jurisdictional drug investigation by the Ohio Valley Crime Suppression Task Force with the arrest of five men and three women at a residence on Keith Road between East Enterprise and Quercus Grove in Switzerland County.

All eight suspects have made appearances for initial hearings in Switzerland Circuit Court in a number of felony and misdemeanor charges.

Those charged include:

Lance D. Hardin, Vevay, for dealing in methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, visiting a comnon nuisance, possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia. His bond was set at $25,000 cash.

Daniel J. Hardin, Vevay, for possession of methamphetamine, maintaining a common nuisance and possession of paraphernalia. His bond was set at $800 cash.

Melissa J. Rider, Patriot, for dealing in methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, visiting a common nuisance, possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia. Her bond was set at $25,000 cash.

Courtney R. Konkle, Madison, for dealing in methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, possession of syringe, possession of marijuana, visiting a common nuisance and possession of paraphernalia. Her bond was set at $25,000 cash.

Brandon D. Parnell, Patriot, for possession of methamphetamine, maintaining a common nuisance and possession of paraphernalia. His bond was set at $500 cash.

Rebecca M. Hardin, Vevay, for maintaining a common nuisance and obstruction of justice. Her bond was set at $500 cash.

Jerry N. Beach, Verona, Kentucky, for dealing in methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, maintaining a common nuisance, possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia. His bond was set at $25,000 cash.

Ryan L. Deitz, Vevay, for dealing in methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, visiting a common nuisance, possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia. His bond was set at $25,000 cash.

The Ohio Valley Crime Suppression Task Force include officers from the Switzerland County Sheriff’s Office, Indiana State Police, Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office and Jennings County Sheriff’s Office.
