Russell Hyatt

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Hebron Cemetery for Russell Charles Hyatt. Military honors will be conducted graveside by Jefferson Post 9 of the American Legion.

Hyatt, 90, of Lake Placid, Fla., formerly of Madison, died Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2012, at Good Shepherd Hospice in Sebring, Fla.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Good Shepherd Hospice, 1110 Hammock Road, Sebring FL 33870. Contribution cards are available at Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, which is in charge of local arrangements.

Graham Robinson

Graham Lofton Robinson, 89, of Farmland, died Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at Indiana University Health Ball Memorial Hospital.

He was born Sept. 1, 1923, in Madison, to Charles and Virginia Potter Robinson. He graduated from Madison High School before serving in the Marine Corps during World War II, rising to the rank of sergeant. He studied interior design and furniture refinishing in Grand Rapids, Mich. He later owned Furniture Fashion in Muncie and went on to manage other furniture stores and practice interior decorating in the Muncie area. He was a member of Farmland Friends Church where he volunteered as a greeter and with the food bank. He was a member of Parker Masonic Lodge 630, a former member of the Muncie Masonic Lodge 433, Farmland Lions Club, and Veterans of Madison County. He and his wife hosted Ball State University International students since 1968. He enjoyed his yard and sharing his home with family, friends and international students.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Gloria Anita Glasson Robinson; one daughter, Robin Anita Robinson Petersen of West Palm Beach, Fla. and Parker City; four sisters, Mary DeCar of Madison, Virginia "Polly" Stewart of Sarasota, Fla., Rose Ann Ball of Hanover and Anita "Twinkie" Scholey of Ponca City, Okla.; one brother, James Robinson of Owensville; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; and great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Winifred "Winnie" Tull and Margaret "Margy" Nunan; and two brothers, Charles "Charlie Boy" Robinson and Nick Robinson.

The funeral was held June 17 at The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory Mt. Pleasant Chapel in Muncie. Burial was in Elm Ridge Cemetery. Military honors were conducted graveside by the Delaware County Veterans Honor Guard.

Clifford Simmons, 85, of Milton, Ky., died Wednesday, July 10, 2013, at King's Daughters' Hospital.

Funeral arrangements and additional information are pending at Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home in Carrollton, Ky.
