Larry Fair

Larry William Fair, 66, of Lapeer, Michigan, formerly of Switzerland County, died Monday, Jan. 28, 2019, at his home.

He was born May 29, 1952, in Madison, to Betty Jo Bennett Lauderbaugh. He was raised in Switzerland County and was a 1970 graduate of Switzerland County High School. He had been vice president and general manager of Anand NVH North America in Imlay City, Michigan, since September, 2017. He will be remembered for his love of vintage cars, collecting memorabilia and as a huge Purdue fan.

He is survived by one daughter, Jana K. Houston of Jeffersonville, Indiana; his grandmother, Stella Romans Bennett of Vevay; one sister, Nila Jean Robinson of Daleville, Indiana; and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his mother.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home in Vevay. Burial will follow in Vevay Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the funeral home Tuesday from 11 a.m. until the service.

Barbara Hamilton

Barbara Ann Mahoney Hamilton, 67, of Madison, Indiana, died Friday, Feb. 1, 2019, at Baptist Health Louisville in Louisville.

She was born Nov. 22, 1951, in Zanesville, Ohio to Thomas Gerald and Pauline Marie Beebe Mahoney. She had lived in the Madison community since 1954 and was a 1970 graduate of Madison Consolidated High School. While in high school she enjoyed playing all sports. She worked early in life with TG & Y, Regal Rugs, and the Kroger Company. Later in life she enjoyed being a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother. She found enjoyment in crafts, crocheting, quilting and listening to Christian music. She was a member of the Bible Baptist Temple Church at Lancaster and enjoyed playing cards at the Senior Citizens until her health no longer permitted.

She is survived by three sons, John Hamilton Jr. of Scottsburg, Indiana, Gerald Hamilton of Madison, and Dylan Hamilton of Columbus, Indiana; two grandchildren; a brother, Jerry Lee Mahoney of Scottsburg, Indiana; a sister, Paula S. Heiderman of Madison, and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, John Robert Hamilton, and her parents.

Funeral services will be Thursday, Feb. 7, 2019, at 2 p.m., at Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, in Madison. Interment will follow in the Grandview Memorial Gardens, 9306 North U.S. 421 in Madison.

Friends may visit Thursday from noon until 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
