Edna Boldery

Edna Mae Dean Boldery, 76, of Deputy, Indiana, died Saturday, Feb. 2, 2019, at her home.

She was born Sept. 19, 1942, in Trimble County, Kentucky, to Cozad and Florence B. Means Dean. She had lived in Jefferson County most of her life and had received her GED. She was of the Christian faith and enjoyed working crossword puzzles. She also loved to play Bingo and loved her dog, Baby. On April 21, 1962, she married Joseph Nathan Boldery.

She is survived by four sons, Terry Dean, Joseph L. Boldery, Darrell Wayne Boldery, all of Deputy, and Steven Boldery of Madison; five daughters, Sandra Boldery of Hanover, Paula Boldery of Madison, Christine Boldery and Erin Rowlett, both of Deputy, and Rebecca Kenney of Louisville; two brothers, Ralph Dean and Donald Dean, both of Madison; five sisters, Linda Wycoff of Madison, Dixie Coghill of Scipio, Indiana, Barbara Ashby of Hanover, Joy Mitchell of Phoenix, Arizona, and Evelyn Ruth Tomosetta of Butler, Pennsylvania; 19 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by one son, Gary Boldery, who died March 28, 1999; her infant daughter, Diane Boldery, who died in 1962; her parents; one brother, William G. “Boe” Dean, who died July 24, 2011; and one sister, Lillie Cole.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre. Burial will follow in Grandview Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be at the funeral home Tuesday from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 11 a.m. until the service.

Dennis Dale Yocum, 69, of Hanover, Indiana,  died Monday, February 4, 2019 at Hanover Health and Rehab in Hanover.
