Donald Boldery

Donald Lee “Curly” Boldery, 79, of Madison, Indiana, died Tuesday, July 7, 2020, at the Norton Hospital in Louisville.

He was born April 17, 1941, in Madison, to Oscar and Dorothy Stewart Boldery. He was raised in Jefferson County and attended school there. He married Laura Mae Cash on Aug. 24, 1962, and they had two daughters and opened their home to many other children to whom they became second parents. He worked for 47 years as a school bus driver, retiring from the Southwestern School Corporation in Hanover. He enjoyed farming, socializing, hunting, watching wrestling, mushroom hunting, riding around on his Kawasaki mule and his family. He was a long time member of Kent Volunteer Fire Department and the Hopewell Baptist Church at Volga, Indiana.

Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Laura Mae Cash Boldery, of Madison; his daughters, Kayla Humphrey of Madison and Laurie Hatton of Lexington, Indiana; his three God daughters, Janet Ritenour of Milan, Indiana, Lisa Watterson of Lexington and Margie McDonough of Hanover, Indiana; a nephew he helped raise, Elston Boldery Jr. of Madison; his brothers, Joseph Boldery of Madison and James Boldery of Hanover; and seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, William O. Boldery and Elston G. Boldery Sr. and a sister, Margaret Boldery Long.

Private funeral services will be held at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre Hanover Chapel in Hanover. Interment will follow in the Hopewell Cemetery in Volga. Friends may visit from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, July 11, at the funeral home.

Kline Webster

Kline Newton Webster, 87, of Carrollton, Kentucky, died Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at his home.

He was born in Grant County, Kentucky, on Oct. 4, 1932, to Justice and Opal McCormick Webster. He served in the U.S Army from April 1953 until April 1955 and retired from the Jefferson Proving Ground in Madison, Indiana.

He is survived by several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Wilma Jay Bickers Webster, in 2012.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 10, at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Jonesville, Kentucky.
