Robert Albert

Robert Kenneth “Bob” Albert, 75, of Bedford, Kentucky, died Sunday, June 23, 2019, at Baptist Hospital East in Louisville.

He was born Dec. 2, 1943, in Leominster, Massachussetts, to Sylvio J. Albert and Priscilla Dorothy Davis Albert. He had retired from Atochem in Carrollton as a chemical operator. In his spare time, he loved to hunt, fish, play cornhole, horseshoes, play with his dogs and work on the farm.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia June Sutherland Albert of Bedford; four sons, Robert Douglas Albert of Greensburg, Indiana, and Michael Todd Albert, Kenneth Wade Albert and Damon Joseph Albert, all of Bedford; two brothers, Dennis Albert of Leominster and Walter Albert; one sister, June Lavoie of New Albany, Indiana; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one grandchild; and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home in Carrollton, Kentucky.

Visitation will be at the funeral home Thursday from 4 p.m. until the service.

Marilyn Caswell

Marilyn Jean Caswell, 86, formerly of Dillsboro, died June 22, 2019, at Hickory Creek Nursing Home in Madison, Indiana.

She was born Tuesday, April 4, 1933, in Dillsboro, Indiana, to Ervin and Edith Schmalle Lanvermeyer. She was a past member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Dillsboro and formerly worked for Duke Energy as a secretary. She enjoyed playing Bingo and wearing jewelry.

She is survived by one brother, Jerry Lanvermeyer of Dillsboro; a niece Dawn “Michele” Bell of Madison; and three stepchildren, Connie Jean, Amber and Ricky Caswell, all from Indiana.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Caswell, and her parents.

A service celebrating her life will be at the convenience of the family.

Wilda Dagnan

Wilda Carol Dagnan, 65, of Worthville, Kentucky, died Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at her residence in Worthville, Kentucky. Arrangements are pending at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.



Narda Kidwell

Narda Elaine Carroll Kidwell, 66, of Deputy, Indiana, died Saturday, June 22, 2019, at Norton Hospital in Louisville.

She was born August 27, 1952, in Decatur, Illinois, to Glenn and Kathlyn Berry Carroll. She lived her early life in Decatur and then the family moved to New Jersey. She graduated in 1970 from Neptune High School there. She was married in 1972 to Don Hay and a son, Donnie, was born in 1975. She worked at Bell Laboratories in Homedel, New Jersey, for several years. She had lived in Madison, Indiana, since 1973 and had worked as a secretary for Richard Black Insurance Agency. She retired on June 1, 2019, as a Court Reporter with Jefferson County Superior Court in Madison. She loved flowers and she worked for a time for Fountain of Flowers in Madison. She was a faithful member of North Madison Christian Church and enjoyed participating in God’s Gals ministry. She loved horses, all animals, and working in her gardens. She was a loving wife, devoted mother, grandma, daughter, sister and aunt.

She is survived by her husband, David J. Kidwell of Madison; her mother, Kathlyn Berry Carroll of Decatur, Illinois; her son, Donnie Hay of Indianapolis; her step-daughter, Angela Segraves of Livingston, Montana; her stepson, Jason Kidwell of Madison; one sister, Sharon Deitsch of St. Mary’s, Ohio; two brothers, Bob Carroll of Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, and John Carroll of Las Vegas, Nevada; two grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and several nieces, newsphews and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her father, Glenn Carroll.

Funeral services will be Sunday, June 30, 2019, at 7 p.m. at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre in Madison.

Visitation will be Sunday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Ben Wentworth

Ben Wentworth, 77, died June 23, 2019, in Jacksonville, Florida.

He was born May 3, 1942, in Vevay, Indiana, to Jesse and Dorothy Wentworth. He grew up in Dayton, Ohio, where he met and married his wife of 49 years, Rema Wentworth. His 28 years of Naval service took him to Rhode Island, San Diego, the Vietnam Campaign and several European countries and finally Jacksonville in 1975. He was a loving and giving person who truly gave of himself and from the heart. The rock of the family, music was a major part of his life. Survivors include his wife of the last five years, Lorraine Wentworth of Jacksonville; one son, Major (Ret.) Jesse Wentworth, U.S. Army; four step-daughters, Elizabeth Brandt, Heidi Small, Stacy Kilduff and Tina Kilduff; one sister, Billie McClure of Odessa, Florida; two grandchildren; one step-grandson, and many nieces and nephews and extended family.

He was was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Rema Wentworth. and three brothers Frankie Wentworth, Glen Wentworth and Vernon Wentworth.

A viewing will be 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. Thursday June 27, 2019, with memorial service after at 6 p.m. in Trinity Assembly of God Church in Jacksonville.

A graveside service and burial will be conducted at the Bedford Cemetery in Bedford, Kentucky at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 29, 2019.
