Lilyannah Adams

Lilyannah Marie Grace Adams died Friday, June 26, 2020, at the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was born prematurely on Tuesday, June 23 to Lacey Walton and Justin Adams of Florence, Indiana.

Arrangements are pending at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home in Vevay, Indiana.

Nancy Hoard

Nancy Lynn Ford Hoard, 72, of Pendleton, Kentucky, died Friday, June 26, 2020, at the Frankfort Regional Medical Center in Frankfort, Kentucky.

She was born on Aug. 9, 1947, in Carroll County, Kentucky, to Harvey Ford and Dorothy Lee Garrett Ford. She spent most of her life as a homemaker and housewife, helping raise her large family. She was a member of the English Baptist Church and enjoyed making crafts, sewing and tending to a garden that she enjoyed raising.

Survivors include her husband of 47 years, Wayne Hoard, of Pendleton; five sons, Dennis Pyles of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, Adam Hoard of Pendleton, Joshua Hoard of Louisville, Travis Hoard of Bedford, Kentucky and Jimmy Hoard; five daughters, Kimberly Mullikin of Milton, Kentucky, Cristi Rice of Pendleton, Jeni Bradburn of Michigan, Jody Hoard of Carrollton, Kentucky and Niki Terry; two sisters, Linda Riddle and Bonnie Smith of Bedford; and 20 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a grandchild and two great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 30, at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home in Carrollton. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until services at the funeral home. Burial will be in the English Cemetery near Carrollton.

Due to the Covid-19 restrictions, the funeral home will be limited to 50% of normal capacity, so be prepared for a possible line as occupancy will be monitored. Strict adherence to 6-foot social distancing requirements will be followed and attendees are asked to please wear a face covering if possible.

Priscilla Parker

Priscilla Lane Owens Parker, 74, of Madison, Indiana, died Thursday, June 25, 2020, at King’s Daughters’ Hospital in Madison.

She was born Sept. 1, 1945, in Madison, to Harry C. and Ollie Elizabeth Richards Owens. She lived most of her life in Jefferson County except for three years spent in Miami, Florida. She was married to Alex Parks 13 years and had four children. She attended the Salvation Army Church. She later married Earl G. “Bud” Parker. She worked as a farm laborer for the Burkhardt family in Milton, Kentucky, for 25 years, loved playing bingo, socializing with her family and friends. She was cared for by her sister, Louise, the past three years.

Survivors include husband of 43 years, Earl G. “Bud” Parker of Madison; her daughters, Laura Elaine Parks and Betty Beach, both of Madison; her sons, Alex Parks and Robert Parks, both of Madison; her stepson, James Parker of Milton; her sisters, Polly Parks, Harriet Grubbs and Louise Osborne, all of Madison; and 12-grandchildren, 21-great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her twins, Ollie and Harry Miller; and a grandson, a great grandson and a sister, Betty Jane Owens.

Funeral services will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 30, at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre in Madison. Interment will follow at a later date in the Springdale Cemetery in downtown Madison. Friends may visit Tuesday from 5 p.m. until time of service at the funeral home.

Naomi Wainscott, 86, of Carrollton, Kentucky, died Friday, June 26, 2020, at her home in Carrollton.
