William Keller

William “Billy” Keith Keller, 55, of Madison, Indiana, died Saturday, March 30, 2019, at Norton Hospital in Louisville.

He was born June 2, 1963, in Madison to Carl Marvin and Rosa Mae “Rosie” Richards Keller. He lived all of his life in Madison and was a 1981 graduate of Madison Consolidated High School. He also attended Ivy Tech. He was employed with Wheaten Tube Factory in Westport for a short time and then with Dayton Walther in Carrollton for 10 years. He was currently employed as a machine operator with Madison Precision Products, where he had worked for the past 22 years and had served as a team leader for 10 years. He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion Post No. 9. He loved socializing with friends and family, watching NASCAR, especially driver’s Dale Jr. and Tony Stewart. He was an avid fan of UofL and of IU, loved listening to CMT and Classic Rock, playing horseshoes, and being with his dog, Joe Joe.

He is survived by a sister, Janet Hatton, of Madison, two brothers, Marvin “Butch” Keller and Steve Keller, both of Greensburg, Indiana; several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Terry Lee Keller Sr.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 2, 2019, at 7 p.m., at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, in Madison.

Interment will follow on Saturday, April 6, 2019, at 10:30 a.m. at the Hebron Cemetery near Madison.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Sandra Leap

Sandra “Tootie” Reed Leap, 71, of Vevay, Indiana, died Saturday, March 30, 2019, at her residence.

She was born Oct. 10, 1947, in Madison, Indiana, to David and Rebecca Jane “Becky” Wolf Reed. She was raised in Switzerland County, Indiana, where she was a 1966 graduate of Vevay High School. She attended classes at IU Southeast in New Albany, Indiana, for three years. She was a bank teller for Peoples Trust Company in Vevay from 1990 to 1997. She had owned and operated Tootie’s Daycare in Vevay since 1997. She was a member of the Family Worship Center in Carrollton, Kentucky, where she was a Sunday school teacher. She enjoyed hiking, camping and monster trucks, but most of all, she was a devoted Elvis Presley fan.

She is survived by her husband, John Charles Leap of Vevay; a daughter, Angela Brockman of Cincinnati; two sons, Robert Konkle of Worthville, Kentucky, and Jerry Girton of Vevay; two stepsons, Charles Anthony Leap of Spencer, Massachusetts, and Billy Joe Leap of Williamstown, Kentucky; two sisters, Carolyn J. Miller and Pamela K. Reed, both of Vevay; a brother, David Reed of Center Square, Indiana; eight grandchildren, three step-grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be Friday, April 5, 2019, at 11 a.m. at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, in Vevay.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 4, 2019, at the funeral home.

Interment will follow in the Vevay Cemetery.
