Mary Frances Adams



Mary Frances Wirth Adams, 86, of Anderson, Indiana, died Wednesday, May 8, 2019, at St. Vincent Hospital Anderson.



She was born Nov. 2, 1932, in Lawrence County, Illinois, to William Thomas and Margaret McCool Wirth. She was a graduate of Henderson High School in Kentucky and worked for 33 years for Madison County Abstract and Title, retiring in 1996 as vice president. She was a member of Redeemer Baptist Church in Anderson. She sold Avon for several years and was a member of the Home Economics Club and had also worked at JCPenney.



She is survived by five daughters, Patricia “Pat” Storm of Middletown, Indiana, Cynthia “Cindy” Traylor of Hanover, Pamela “Pam” Stafford and Carolyn Glover, both of Anderson, and Marilyn Roehr of Marion, Indiana; 15 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.



She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles “Charlie” Adams, whom she married August 7, 1949; her parents; and one sister, Allene Sheets.



The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Redeemer Baptist Church in Anderson. Burial will follow in East Maplewood Cemetery.



Visitation will be at Rozelle Johnson Funeral Service in Anderson Tuesday from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and at the church Wednesday one hour before the service.
