Michael Spencer

Michael Edward Spencer, 46, of Madison died Monday, Nov. 26, 2018, at Norton Hospital in Louisville.

He was born July 25, 1972, in Melrose Park, Illinois, the son of Jimmy Edward and Linda Sanders Spencer. He was raised in Carpentersville, Illinois, until the age of 15. He attended Southwestern High School and Madison Consolidated High School and later received his GED. He attended Ivy Tech and received his certificate in computer science. He was of the Baptist faith, enjoyed fishing, motorcycles — especially Harley Davidsons, video games, tinkering on computers, driving through the country and most of all being with his children. He married Felicia Wright in March 2002, and they had two sons and one daughter. He had worked for Anderson’s Sales and Service for 11 years in delivery and maintenance. He made the choice in life to be an organ donor and has now provided the gift of life to several people.

He is survived by two sons, Michael Dalton Spencer and Marshall Chase Spencer, and one daughter, Hailee Rose Spencer, all of Madison; his mother, Linda Sanders Spencer of Madison; one sister, Laura Scott of Lexington, Indiana; one stepson, Darian Kincaid of Clarksville, Indiana; and several other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his father and by his stepfather, Ronald Seeley.

Visitation will be at the funeral home Sunday from 1 p.m. until the service.
