Tiffany Michelle “Tiffy Bear” Cox Estes, 38, of Madison, Indiana, died Sunday, Oct. 20, 2019, at her home. Arrangements will be announced by Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre in Madison.



Melissa Frisque

Melissa Gale Bliton Frisque, 55, of Madison, Indiana, died Monday, Oct. 21, 2019, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville.

She was born Dec. 29, 1963, in Madison to Ralph D. Jr. and Sharon Sue Simmons Bliton. She lived all her life in Madison and was a 1982 graduate of Madison Consolidated High School. She also attended and graduated from Ivy Tech in Madison. She had worked for Pizza Hut, King’s Daughters’ Hospital, Jefferson County Jail and ResCare. She was a member of the Goodwill Conservation Club and the River Valley Community Church. She enjoyed her grandchildren, church and helping others.

She is survived by one daughter, Ashley Frisque Wall of Deputy, Indiana; one son, Deven Gerard Frisque of Madison; one step-daughter, Stacey Frisque of Madison; one sister, Dawn Michelle Smith of Madison; four grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a step-daughter, Susan Frisque Crowe.

Funeral services will be Friday, Oct. 25, 2019, at 2 p.m. at the River Valley Community Church in Madison. Interment will follow in the Grandview Memorial Gardens in Madison.

Visitation will be Friday from noon until the time of service at the church.

Tyla Hankins

Tyla Lynn Hankins, 24, of Hebron, Kentucky, formerly of Switzerland County, Indiana, died Tuesday, Oct. 22, 2019, at the University of Cincinnati Hospital in Cincinnati. Arrangements are pending at Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home in Vevay, Indiana.



Willie Moore

Willie Shane Moore, 32, of Ghent in Gallatin County, Kentucky, died Monday, Oct. 21, 2019, at his residence.

He was born in Frankfort, Kentucky, Nov. 26, 1986, to Willie and Theresa Ann McIntyre Moore. He graduated from Carroll County High School and formerly worked at the campground at General Butler State Resort Park in Carrollton, Kentucky.

Survivors include an uncle, Marty McIntyre of Ghent; two aunts, Sharon Perkins of Owenton, Kentucky, and Candice Conn of Wake Forest, North Carolina; his maternal grandmother, Patsy Miles of Wake Forest, and his paternal grandfather; Willie Moore of Frankfort.

He was preceded in death by his parents; maternal grandfather, Sidney Ray McIntyre, and his paternal grandmother, Geraldine Baker Moore.

Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26, 2019, at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Carrollton.

Elaine Raymer

Elaine Mildred Riel Schaffer Raymer, 82, of Hanover, Indiana, died Tuesday, Oct. 22, 2019, at the Hanover Health & Rehab Center in Hanover.

She was born May 16, 1937, in Painesville, Ohio, to Chester William and Beulah Arlene Smiley Riel. She grew up in Painesville and graduated from Riverside High School there in 1955. In 1964 she married Frank J. Schaffer and they lived in Lexington, Kentucky, for several years. She held many positions in administration during her lifetime and was a Realtor for many years in Ohio and Kentucky. She had lived for several years in Chagrin Falls, Ohio. In 1996 she married John William Raymer Jr. They moved to Kent, Indiana, and had lived there for 20 years. She was a tireless volunteer and involved in community service. She also served as a lay speaker for many churches in the area as well as a chaplain. She had provided home health care to many individuals in Indiana, and ministered and cared for patients at The Waters of Clifty Falls and Hanover Health and Rehab. She was a very active member of the Jefferson County Republican Women, the Jefferson County United Way, and served as an ambassador for the Madison Chamber of Commerce for many years. She was proud to have represented the Republican Party in her run for Jefferson County treasurer. She was an animal lover and dearly loved and adored her dogs. She deeply loved her sons and enjoyed when they could be together.

She is survived by two sons, Patrick “Rick” Schaffer of Middleburg Heights, Ohio, and Thomas Schaffer; one brother, Louie Riel of Perry, Ohio, one granddaughter and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John William Raymer Jr.; her parents; the father of her children, Frank J. Schaffer; her son, James Schaffer; and her brothers, William Chester Riel and Perry Riel.

Funeral services will be Saturday, Oct. 26, 2019, at 1 p.m. at the Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery Chapel in Madison. Interment will follow in the Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery.

Visitation will be Saturday from noon until the time of service.
