Wilma Clark

Wilma Lee Clark, 81, of Madison, died Friday, Oct. 2, 2020, at her home.

She was born Sept. 19, 1939, in Pound, Virginia, to Greely Stanley and Mamie Mullins and married Ronald Clark. She was a caregiver for Res-Care and had worked as a surgical tech for the former Jennings Community Hospital for several years. She attended Grayford Road Church of God in North Vernon, Indiana, and enjoyed camping, taking rides in the country and on trains and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her sons, Jerry Littrell of Tampa, Florida and Tim Littrell of Madison; her daughters, Patricia Littrell of Madison and Sara Collins of Lawrenceburg, Indiana; two brothers, Jim Mullins and Rick Mullins, both of Columbus, Indiana; a sister, Georgia Ernstes of Commiskey, Indiana; and 13 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; her stepfather, Walter Taylor; her husband in 1991; a son, Daniel Littrell; five brothers, Bob, Wendel, David, Lowell and Jiles Mullins; and three sisters, Ruth Boggs, Naomi Boggs and Ella Mae Perkins. 

Funeral services are at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 6, at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service in North Vernon with burial to follow in the Vernon Cemetery in Vernon, Indiana. Visitation is from 10 a.m. until time of the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.

Sandra Miller 

Sandra Jean "Sis" Long Miller, 71, of Hanover, Indiana, died Thursday, Oct. 1, 2020, at the Baptist Health-Louisville.

She was born Nov. 23, 1948, in Madison, Indiana, to James William and Lena Mae Stanton Long. She was raised and lived all of her life in Jefferson County and was a 1967 graduate of Southwestern High School. She married Ernest Earl Miller on Oct. 5, 1968, and they had three sons. She began a career with Grote Industries right out of high school, working in warranty and retiring after 49 years of service. She was baptized into the family of God.

Survivors include her husband of 52 years of Hanover; her sons, James W. Miller of Seymour, Indiana, Andrew Joseph Miller of Plainfield, Indiana and Jon Daniel Miller of Hanover; a brother, James Franklin Long of Madison; and three grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Daniel Gene Long. 

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 7, at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre-Hanover Chapel in Hanover. Interment will follow in the New Prospect Cemetery near Saluda, Indiana. Visitation is 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday and from noon until the time of service Wednesday at the funeral home
