To the editor:

During the roughly one week since the acquittal of George Zimmerman in the Trayvon Martin killing, you have published two editorial cartoons, two columns, and an editorial, in all of which the theme was, roughly, "Trayvon Martin was murdered and the jury was wrong," or, "Guns are dangerous and we should be alarmed at 'too many' concealed carry permits being issued," or a combination of the two opinions.

Now I realize that The Madison Courier is entitled under freedom of the press to hold and express any opinion it desires. But you do realize, don't you, that probably at least 80 percent of your readers would disagree with you on both items? You seem to be out of step with the views of this community on those two subjects.
