The Jefferson County Extension Homemakers met Dec. 6, 2018, at the Lonnie Mason Agricultural Extension Office at the 4-H Fairgrounds. Carol Bell led the group in a prayer. President Linda Phillips led the meeting. Secretary Dorothy Canada gave the secretary’s report. Treasurer Diana Giltner gave the treasurer’s report. Baby gifts were brought by the Homemakers to be given to the first baby born at King’s Daughters’ Hospital in 2019. Dorothy Morgan read “A Baby’s Hug.” The Homemakers gave a donation to Respect Youth Village. The group closed the meeting with a pitch-in lunch.
