Indiana State Police trooper and 1985 Shawe Alumnus Merritt Toomey visited Pope John XXIII Elementary School recently to teach a 6th grade class about the world of crime scene investigation. During Trooper Toomey’s presentation, students learned about the investigation process that is regularly used by the state police. Students also learned how police officers take fingerprints.
