The Lide White Boys & Girls Club will offer its summer care program with structured activities, adult supervision and a safe environment for children between the ages of 5 and 14. The program will run from June 1 to Aug. 6.

Some of the program's activities include: arts & crafts, computer lab, movies, hiking, playground, gym time, outdoor activities, board games, reading, swimming, nok-hockey, pool, table tennis, bumper pool, foosball and field trips.

The club will also offer the Mitch's Kids summer program to help improve youth reading and math skills. The program also aims to help children look at possible careers and guide them towards the classes and fields of study to help them be successful.

This summer, the program will also include preparation for ISTEP testing with educational drills intended to help improve recall and logical thinking.

This program is designed for TANF eligible youth between 5 and 12 years of age. Children that do not meet TANF eligibility can participate for a participation fee each week.
