SEI Communications will once again offer $4,000 in scholarships to 2014 graduates.

The scholarship program will award five $500 scholarships from the Southeastern Indiana Rural Telephone Cooperative and three $500 scholarships from SEI Data students who want to further their education.

The be eligible for selection, a student must reside with a parent or legal guardian who is a customer of SIRTC or SEI Data as of Feb. 7, 2014. SIRTC scholarships will be given to SIRTC customers and SEI Data scholarships will be given to SEI Data customers.

Students may only apply once. Applicants must be a 2014 graduating high school senior and have a six-semester minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale, or its equivalent at the time of application.

The grade point average must be verified in writing by the high school principal or guidance counselor. No application essay is required. Selection is random.
