CINCINNATI (AP) — Scott Schebler set a Reds season record Friday when he belted the team’s 10th grand slam of the season and Joey Votto upped that record to 11 on Saturday with his first home run in two months.

Schebler connected off Rowan Wick in the sixth for Cincinnati’s 10th grand slam of the season, setting a club record and putting the Reds up 10-4 in an eventualy 12-6 win that was delayed by 2 hours, 37 minutes because of rain and ended at 12:09 a.m.

Votto belted his grand slam in the second inning Saturday off Robbie Erlin, connecting for Cincinnati’s 11th of the season — one shy of the NL record — as the Reds beat the San Diego Padres 7-2 in a game called because of rain in the top of the seventh inning.
