Christian Academy of Madison started strong to score the first 10 points of the game and went on to outscore Christian Academy of Lawrenceburg (Ky.) in all four quarters en route to a 64-47 boys varsity basketball road win on Tuesday night.

In a game where the two teams combined for 16 3-pointers, Madison’s Chase Hoskins had the hottest hand overall to knock down six treys and score a game-high 22 points for the Defenders. The Rams hit for nine 3-pointers overall — including four by Noah Farley en route to his team-high 15 points — but Madison outscored Lawrenceburg 7-2 at the foul stripe.

Luke Carter added 17 points for Christian Academy of Madison and David Kummer had 13 points and a team-high six rebounds to give the Defenders three players in double figures.

In addition to Farley’s 15, the Rams got 11 from Camdon Henson and 10 from Jacob Gaines while Farley capped his double-double with a game-high 11 rebounds.

Madison, now 8-8, will be back in action Saturday night at Medora for the Ram’s second conference game of the season. The Defenders are currently 1-0 in the Southern Roads Conference.
