Hanover men's lacrosse jumped out to a 9-2 lead and never looked back in a 15-7 win at Wilmington (Ohio) on Wednesday.

Hanover scored the first three goals of the game and led 5-2 after the first quarter. The Panthers then pitched a shutout in the second to take a 9-2 lead into halftime.

The teams played virtually even in the second half and Hanover pulled away for the 15-7 win.

Nick Hermes and Josh Green scored four goals each to lead the Panthers while Frank Vest had two goals and Tim Gruber and Chris Baney scored one each. Vest and Green also had two assists each.

Addison Sears stopped 10 Quakers shots in goal to post his fourth win in five tries.

Hanover, now 4-1, hosts Milwaukee (Wis.) Engineering on Saturday.
