Hanover's men's cross country team posted season best times across the board en route to a 16th place finish at the Willmington (Ohio) Fall Classic Friday.

The Panthers were led by Logan Wells, a junior from Scottsburg, who ran 46th overall with a time of 26:34.01 as the Panthers were eighth among NCAA Division III teams and 16th in a 36-team field that also included NCAA Division I, II and NAIA teams.

Ben Franke, a sophomore from Seymour, was 111th overall in a career-best 27:18.6 and Jake Hally, a freshman from Indianapolis, was 112th in 27:29.93.

Drew Elston, a sophomore from Carmel, and Brendan Kelly, a senior from Indianapolis, completed the Panther scoring with Elston running 27:43.12 and Kelly 27:46.43.

Mount Union (Ohio) University won the meet and University of Indianapolis junior Alex Cushman was the individual champion in 24:58.69 over the 8K distance.
