Ryan Miller has been hired as head coach of Hanover College's men's and women's tennis squads.

Miller, a United States Professional Tennis Association certified instructor, is a former assistant coach at Indiana University and was the head teaching professional at the Jasper (Ind.) Tennis Club.

A 2011 Indiana graduate, Miller served as a manager with Indiana's women's tennis program through four seasons while earning a bachelor's degree in journalism. He later worked as a volunteer assistant coach with the Hoosiers and also taught at the IU Tennis Center.

During his stint at the IU Tennis Center, he organized a 10-and-under team program which included more than 200 players and 35 coaches, in addition to private and group instruction.

While at the Jasper Tennis Club, he provided instruction to a base of nearly 300 junior players and 40 adults.

A native of Washington, Ind., Miller played for four years on Washington High School's varsity team and was a three-time all-conference, all-district and all-state honoree for the Hatchets.
