Hanover College’s track & field teams competed in the Tiger Small College Indoor Invitational at DePauw University on Friday.
The men’s team scored 94 points and finished second to Wabash’s 152 points in the 12-team field. The women collected 85 points and placed third behind Campbellsville (96) and DePauw (93.5).
Top finishes for the men were: Bryce Gatewood, first, 200 dash, 23.45 and second, 400 dash, 52.17; Ethan Monnin, first, pole vault, 13-1.5; Erikmycal Powell, first, long jump, 22-2.5 and seventh, 60 dash, 7.47; Kyler Perez, first, weight throw, 50-1.75; 800 relay, first, 1:35.27; 1600 relay, first, 3:35.00; Jalen Simmons, second, pole vault, 13-1.5; Riley Cook, fourth, high jump, 6-0; Chaz Johnson, fifth, long jump, 19-5.5; Torion’Ja Forrest, sixth, 200 dash, 23.92; Aaron Rodgers, eighth, 400 dash, 53.29 and 10th, triple jump, 36-8.5; Elijah Williams, eighth, weight throw, 45-1.5; Paxton Caldwell, ninth, 400 dash, 53.67 and 10th, 200 dash, 24.36; and Nick Stroud, 10th, shot put, 40-11.

Hanover returns to DePauw on Saturday for the DePauw Indoor Invitational.
