Switzerland County's girls rolled to their third-straight basketball win, a 63-37 victory at Milan in the Lady Pacers' Ohio River Valley Conference opener on Tuesday.

The Pacers, who have not lost since falling to Madison 37-2 in the season-opener, were led by sophomore Eve Galbreath's season-high 22 points and sophomore Hailee Lay's career-high 13 points.

"I am happy with our overall effort. Once again we had a very balanced effort and everyone contributed," Switzerland coach Ashley Chase said. "Galbreath had a big game on the boards and scoring. It was good to see her play her game tonight. This was a good first conference win for the team.

"We did a lot of things well, but we aren't satisfied and will use the next week to work on some of our weaknesses," Chase added.

Freshmen Kelsi Konkle and Brooke Todd added eight points each for the Pacers, fellow freshman Makenzie Mathews had seven points and junior Bre Ricketts scored five.

With the win, Switzerland County (3-1) matched its win total from a year ago in just its fourth game of the season. The Pacers will aim for win number four on Dec. 6 when they travel across the Ohio River to take on Trimble County.
