Southwestern’s wrestling team scored a 39-15 win over Switzerland County on Tuesday night in Hanover.

Only seven of the 13 weight classes were contested with the Rebels scoring four wins to the Pacers’ three. Three of the divisions were double forfeits and the other three went to the host Rebels and that was enough to secure the 21-point win.

Southwestern’s Cameron Canada, Adam Anderson and Mitchell Cline all won by fall while the Pacers’ Aiden Day and Alce Boggs won their matches by fall. The teams split a pair of decisions by Southwestern’s Clifton Hendrickson and Switzerland County’s Dathan Brown.

Both teams will be back in action this weekend at the Southern Indiana Wrestling Conference championships on Saturday at Southwestern.
