— Shawe Junior High’s boys basketball team picked up a pair of wins at St. Ambrose on Tuesday.
The seventh grade won 25-14 and were led in scoring by Colton Dattilo with 10 points and Leo Garcia with four.
The eighth grade won 39-13 and were led in scoring by Jacob Hertz who had 15 points and 12 rebounds. Luke Stephens had six points and 13 rebounds.
The eighth grade team kick off its end of the season CYO tourney at Providence on Sunday.

— The 2020 Madison Parks & Recreation Department’s summer baseball and softball forms are now available
The participation fee is $50. The deadline for 7-12 year olds is March 27 and the deadline for 13-15 year olds is May 8. A participant’s age is determined by their age on May 1.
All applications received by the deadline are guaranteed a roster spot. Those that sign up late may be placed on a waiting list and are subject to a $20 late fee.
Coaches are also needed at all levels for baseball and softball. There will be a coaches information meeting at the Brown Gym on Monday, Feb. 24 at 6 p.m.
Forms are available at the Parks office located in the Brown Gym, online at www.madisonparks.com, Champs sports and Corporate Apparel, Liberty Screen Printing and will be distributed to area schools.
