Southwestern's offense exploded for 15 goals on Wednesday as the Rebels notched their second straight Ohio River Valley Conference boys soccer victory, defeating Milan 15-2.

The Rebels found themselves on the scoreboard less than a minute into the first half when Edi Tovar's pass to Michael Arberg resulted in a goal and a 1-0 lead.

From there, Southwestern scored four more goals in the half. Coleman Jackson, Markel Goikolea, Ashton Hill and Peter Carrell all connected on goals, with assists by Hill, Robby Stoner and Nathan Anderson. The Rebels led 5-0 at the half.

Southwestern continued its offensive dominance in the second half, scoring 10 goals in the half. Tovar scored two goals, with Jackson, Cam Rogers, Austin Spray, John Vest, Anderson, Ese Taylor, Stoner and Mitchel Swafford all scoring a goal each.

Rogers was credited with four assists in the second half and Tovar collected two. Arberg and Jackson each added an assist in the half.

Kevin Copeland and Billy Love scored Milan's two goals, both coming in the final 40 minutes.

Southwestern (2-1-0, 2-0 ORVC) hosts Jac-Cen-Del on Friday in an ORVC match.
