Southwestern’s boys tennis team swept past South Dearborn 5-0 at home on Tuesday to remain unbeaten on the season.

The Rebels had trouble in only one match, at No. 1 singles, where Landon DeAtley was finally able to shake off Brayden Tanner to win 6-4, 7-6.

Other results were: No. 2 Jordan DeAtley (SW) d. Preston Succian (SD) 6-0, 6-1; No. 3 Mason Lichlyter (SW) d. Grant Melane (SD) 6-4, 6-1. Doubles — No. 1 Foster Mefford, Zach Cole (SW) d. Lane Cutter, Ethan Foger (SD) 6-0, 6-0; No. 2 Carter Harmon, Derrick Osborn (SW) d. Tristan Daily, Luke Brown (SD) 6-2, 6-0.

Southwestern, now 5-0 on the season, travels to Madison on Wednesday. The Rebels host New Washington on Friday.
