Southwestern's volleyball team wrapped up the regular season with a split of two matches in a round robin tournament at New Washington on Saturday.

The Rebels lost to Charlestown 25-17, 25-20 but defeated New Washington 25-10, 25-16.

Against Charlestown, Elle Ford was 8-for-8 serving with an ace and six kills, Ashleigh Ream was 6-for-6 serving with six digs, Marissa Naylor was 6-for-6 serving with an ace, Kylie Eccles was 5-for-6 serving and had six kills, Meaghan Kramer had seven assists and Hayley Fresh had six assists.

Against New Washington, Fresh was 18-for-18 serving with four aces and also had 13 assists. Kramer was 6-for-6 serving with five kills and seven assists, Ford was 5-for-5 serving with five kills, Eccles was 5-for-6 serving with an ace, Halee Smith had nine kills, and Ream had 17 digs.

Southwestern, now 16-13 on the season, opens the Class 2A Sectional Tournament at South Decatur on Thursday when it faces North Decatur in the first match.
