Trimble County's boys cross country team finished 10th at the KHSAA Class A State Championships Saturday at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington.

The Raiders scored 328 points to place 10th in the 27-team field. The Trimble girls were 15th out of 21 teams with 369 points.

Junior Christian Apel finished 20th in 17:34.69 to lead the Trimble boys. The rest of the team's results were: Tray Robbins, 69th, 18:42.38; Kyle Puckett, 97th, 19:21.06; Conner Ball, 119th, 19:40.77; Johnathan Papai, 134th, 19:59.48; Brennan Kunkel, 147th, 20:22.18; and Calvin Brown, 208th, 24:08.95.

Results for the Trimble girls were: Erin Gonterman, 52nd, 22:16.42; Kylie Wilberding, 71st, 22:47.44; Kirsten Baird, 82nd, 23:08.89; Ashley Brierly, 100th, 23:49.65; Courtney Matthews, 151st, 28:22.14; Tessa Chilton, 161st, 30:31.93.

St. Henry won both team championships with 84 points in the boys race and 62 in the girls. Jacob Thomson of Louisville Holy Cross won the boys race with a time of 15:21.40. Danville's Meagan Smith won the girls race in 19:16.39.
